Congratulations, Principal Deliee!
Dear Centre Ridge Elementary School Parents, Students, and Staff,
I am pleased to announce that Mr. Charles Deliee has been named the new principal of Centre Ridge Elementary School, effective July 27, 2018.
Most recently, Mr. Deliee served as assistant principal at Centre Ridge. Mr. Deliee began his career as a learning disabilities teacher in 1990 and continued teaching until 2004. From 2004-10, Mr. Deliee was a test administrative specialist, leading and helping implement the Virginia Grade Level Alternative (VGLA) to help improve achievement for students with disabilities. In 2010, he was named assistant principal at Saratoga Elementary School, where he served until being named assistant principal at Centre Ridge. While at Saratoga, Mr. Deliee created a staff development model to provide quarterly staff training; worked with administrative staff, overseeing and managing the Comprehensive Services Site; and implemented the Do the Math intervention system. At Centre Ridge, he worked to align school-based instruction with Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) blueprints to improve instruction for students with disabilities and provided school-based services to guide school teams in analyzing SOL data and implementing intervention techniques.
Mr. Deliee earned his bachelor of science in Education, Learning Disabilities, at James Madison University, and his master’s of education in Educational Leadership at George Mason University.
